Mapping the Universe

Talk held by Johan Comparat (Max Planck Institute for extraterrestrial Physics (MPE/MPG), Bavaria, Germany) at the KGRC Friday seminar on 2019‑05‑24.

Abstract

This presentation I first explain what we observe in the Universe and which are the relevant observable to constrain the cosmological model. Then I mention ongoing and future experiments and their potential applications.

In a second part I describe current challenges to understand and explain observations from a theoretical point of view.
